Occupational Medicals announces Occupational Health Advisor as their newest addition to the team of Medical Professionals

The spring season of 2009 has been a busy one at Occupational Medicals in terms of welcoming new additions to our expanding team of Medical Professionals – Sharon Horan joined us at the end of April to start providing consultancy services and this May we were delighted to take Anita Sloan on board to provide services both from our Stockport Head Office and on site to some of our clients in the local area.

With a wide range of nursing experience gained over 30 years, Anita is delighted to be able to offer her excellent customer service and professional medical skills to our clientele both on site and at our base. Alongside experience in conducting on site Health Surveillance, Anita is enthusiastic and proactive in seeing the needs of our clients and offering tailored solutions dependant on the industry sector. She is available to give advice and guidance in relation to a wide range of health related issues including absence management, rehabilitation back to work, stress management, highlighting improved fitness to work for example with changes in lifestyle and diet. Her knowledge extends to advising employees who travel oversees for business/work and appropriate vaccinations as well as risk assessments and rehabilitation management of musculoskeletal disorders.
