Sickness Absence Medicals/Management Referrals
These may be referred to us on an ad hoc basis and are recommended after 2-3 weeks of absence. Requests for appointments with a qualified doctor are made through our head office in Stockport. Employees are then usually seen with 7 days, with fitness to work reports issued 10 days thereafter.

Pre-employment Questionnaires / Medicals
We believe that effective absence management should be preventative. By screening fitness prior to employment, employers are able to identify potential health problems while receiving clear guidance under the Disability Discrimination Act. Primarily by questionnaire, full medicals may be suggested should any ‘trigger’ points be highlighted.

Executive Health Screening
Sometimes known as a ‘Full Body MOT’ our Executive Screens are designed to review overall health and well being, helping to not only diagnose existing conditions but evaluate any key risk factors possibly aggravated by lifestyle habits. Including blood, audiometric and lung function testing as well as a resting ECG.

Health Surveillance / Statutory Medicals (Nurse On Site)
Tailoring our services to your industrial need, we can provide fully qualified Occupational Health Nurses on-site. Cost effective and time efficient, large employee numbers can be seen with minimum disruption to the working day.

Stress Management, Counselling and Auditing
Today stress is one of the most common reasons for absence from work for non-manual workers. We can offer stress-counselling programs for the individual and stress management workshops groups. We can also provide stress auditing which routes the causes of stress in the work place.

Private Assessment / Treatment
Our practitioners provide speedy diagnosis and treatment - at the same time setting in place preventative practices and positive habits for the individual. Musculo-skeletal specialists can assess shoulder, knee, back and neck pain. This service offers:

Audiometric Testing
Audiometric screening can be performed as specified by the Health & Safety Executive. Upon completion, the results will be evaluated and categorized and Management given guidance on compliance with the Noise at Work Regulations 1989.

Drug and Alcohol Testing
Drug and alcohol screening is available for Pre-Employment, at cause and random.

Hand and Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS)
Governed by the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005, the HSE indicates that health surveillance should be offered to employees who are regularly exposed to vibrations in the workplace. Our highly experienced and qualified Occupational Health Professionals are here to assess and advise.

Lung Function Testing
Assessing the efficiency of the lungs where potential industrial exposure may prompt necessary. All results are communicated clearly to management, providing relevant advice on environment modification.

Telephone Advisory Service
A comprehensive facility for management to enquire over the telephone. Either post-assessment or independently we ensure all your fitness to work queries are promptly addressed.

Flu & Travel Vaccinations
Conducted by a nurse on-site, numerous vaccinations can be administered to ensure immunity. Overseas travel vaccinations and guidance is also available.
